This week is mostly everybody’s bye week and lordy do they need it. EMU’s 3-1, but was 19 seconds away from losing to an FCS team after beating a Big Ten squad. Ohio’s 1-3 and just got served a 20-point loss to UL-Lafayette. Ball State’s been in games, but no wins over FBS teams to this point. Kent State put up 62 against Bowling Green, but now’s a good time for them to rest up before taking on Wisconsin. Seriously, have you seen what these Badgers have been doing this year?
Only seven MAC teams are in action this weekend, including two intra-divisional games: Buffalo at Miami and Central Michigan at Western Michigan. The other three games: Northern Illinois at Vanderbilt (MAC at SEC, old friend alert: Riley Neal’s on the other side), BYU at Toledo (G5 porn), and Akron at UMass (speaking of butt stuff…).

This week’s Pick ‘Em can earn you up to 37 points. The non-conference games are worth one point each and the divisional matchups are worth three. Plus, the normal run on two-point opportunities along with the “pick six” portion.
- Deadline for entries will always be as soon as the games for that week kick-off. For this week, I’ll stop taking submissions as soon as the Saturday games begin at noon.
- Your entry with the latest timestamp is the one that matters the most. So you can make your picks on Monday, then submit new picks on Wednesday, but I’m only accepting Wednesday’s picks.
