Can the MAC finally step up and win some non-conference games? Please?
I mean, EMU at least has two wins over FBS team already. Entering Saturday, the MAC was 1-15 against FBS teams in the first two weeks, and now that record moves to 3-23 with EMU’s win over Illinois and WMU’s win over Georgia State. This week, there are eight MAV vs. FBS games including road trips to four P5 schools: WMU at Syracuse, Miami at Ohio State, CMU at Miami-FL, and Ball State at NC State.
Only one more Saturday dominated by non-conference games left on the calendar. Fingers crossed.

This week’s Pick ‘Em can earn you up to 40 points. All of the non-conference games are worth one point, the divisional game between BG and Kent State is worth three points. Then, of course, props and non-league game picks.
- Deadline for entries will always be as soon as the games for that week kick-off. For this week, I’ll stop taking submissions as soon as the Saturday games begin at noon.
- Your entry with the latest timestamp is the one that matters the most. So you can make your picks on Monday, then submit new picks on Wednesday, but I’m only accepting Wednesday’s picks.
