Central Michigan’s grad transfer quarterback Quinten Dormady and running back Jonathan Ward will both miss some games this season with injuries, Jim McElwain told the media.
Dormady’s got a knee injury, Ward has a shoulder injury, and sophomore defensive end Amir Siddiq has a right leg injury which were all suffered against Wisconsin. McElwain said they’ll be out somewhere between a minimum three weeks and “hopefully” no more than eight.
As Evan Petzold noted, David Moore will be the new starting quarterback with Tommy Lazarro behind him. Kobe Lewis and true freshman Lew Nichols are the top two running backs after Ward. At defensive end, Troy Hairston will take Siddiq’s place.
After that initial report, McElwain noted that defensive tackle Jaques Bristol’s dealing with an ankle injury.
