Ropati is listed at 6-foot-2, 290 pounds, grew up in San Francisco, Calif. and played his prep ball at Balboa before going to the local junior college. Ropati played in 14 total games in his two years at CCSF, made seven tackles, four for loss, and two sacks.
Ball State adds another QB, too
Ball State got good news from Indianapolis, too. Eddie Schott, a 6-foot-5, pro-style quarterback from Southport High School, announced his commitment to the program via Twitter.
Very excited to announce I’m committing to Ball State University! Thank you to the BSU coaching staff for giving me this opportunity, and a huge thanks to everyone who’s helped me along the way. You all know who you are! @coachjoeylynch @BSUCoachNeu pic.twitter.com/m7XG4THMcC

Schott’s not the first quarterback to commit to Ball State’s class of 2019, let alone the first quarterback out of Indy, joining Mark Nondorf out of Bishop Chatard.
