Buffalo continues to have road games in the Big Ten with Ohio State and Maryland added to the 2020 and 2022 schedules, respectively.
The Bulls will now have road games against Big Ten teams every year through 2023 and have since last year. According to FBSchedules.com, Buffalo will bring in $1.8 million to go play in Columbus on Sept. 19, 2020, but that also completes the schedule for that season.
Buffalo, in 2020 will have three road games in non-conference action, visiting OSU, Kansas State and Army with Old Dominion coming to Buffalo Stadium.
- Sept. 5, 2020- at Kansas State
- Sept. 12- vs. Old Dominion
- Sept. 19- at Ohio State
- Oct. 24- at Army
Akron also announced a road game matchup with the Buckeyes in 2021. In the two weeks leading up to the OSU game, Akron will play host to Temple, then play at Kentucky. Likewise, Akron will receive $1.8 million for its trip to Columbus, Ohio.
- Sept. 11, 2021- vs. Temple
- Sept. 18- at Kentucky
- Sept. 25- at Ohio State
Akron still has one more non-conference game to complete its 2020 and 2021 schedules.
Buffalo at Maryland in 2022 is the second to be scheduled that year. The Bulls will play against the Terps on Sept. 3, then will be at Coastal Carolina two weeks later.
