OT/DT Kobe Hilton first commit for Akron’s 2019 class

Akron’s on the board with its first commitment of the current recruiting cycle. Two-way lineman Kobe Hilton (Farrell, Pa.; Farrell) made his commitment to the Zips’ program yesterday.

Hilton’s a really physical lineman that does a really good job of making his first step off the ball with authority as well as finishing his blocks. Back in December, Hilton was recognized as an all-state offensive lineman by the Pennsylvania Football Writer’s Association and was listed at 6-foot-4, 255 pounds.

Akron was the first school to offer Hilton, followed by Miami-OH, Toledo, Youngstown State, Western Michigan, Robert Morris and Morgan State — seven total offers.
