Ball State picked up a commitment from in-state defensive tackle John Harris on Friday.
Harris (Indianapolis, Ind.; Roncalli) is rated a two-star prospect by 247sports.com’s composite scoring system, where he’s graded out at 0.7498. Harris is listed at 6-foot-4 and 270 pounds.
It’s hard to find much information on Harris other than that. It doesn’t look like the guy is on Twitter and I haven’t found any highlights of him online, either. His 247sports page reads like Ball State was his only offer, but it’s hard to say — from afar — whether or not that’s entirely true.
Still, the Cardinals got its second commitment for the 2019 recruiting cycle with both players coming from Indianapolis.
