JUCO safety Joey Banks commits to Buffalo
Joey Banks, a safety from City College of San Francisco, tweeted out his commitment to Buffalo on Saturday.
Banks is from Elk Grove, Calif. native and a Sacramento State (FCS) bounce back.
Eastern Michigan offers in-state players
Eastern Michigan made a few offers over the weekend, but three that I’ll point out are offensive lineman Anton Palushaj, wide receiver/cornerback Nicholas Whiteside (preferred walk-on) and defensive end Tyler Carter. Palushaj is from Sterling Heights, Mich. (Utica Stevenson), Whiteside is from Rochester Hills, Mich. (Avondale) and Carter is from River Rouge (River Rouge).

Paljusevic’s first 14 offers were from Division-II & III programs, then picked up bigger offers from Nebraska, Marshall, Kent State, Ball State and now EMU.
Before EMU, Carter had 16 other offers, but none from Division-I programs. Same for Whiteside, who held a handful of offers from local colleges.
St. Louis, 2019 QB visits Muncie
Nate Martens tweeted out that he has visited Ball State for junior day. Martens is a left-handed, pro-style quarterback from St. Louis, Mo. (De Smet Jesuit HS), with a three-star ranking by 247sports.com (0.8116 composite).
Syracuse is currently Martens’ only offer.
2019 CB Nubin receives third MAC offer
Tyler Nubin, a cornerback from St. Charles, Ill. (St. Charles North HS) was offered by Western Michigan on Saturday. This is his fourth offer, first since Halloween by Northern Illinois. He now has offers from Illinois State, NIU, WMU and Central Michigan.
Martens and Nubin have been added to the Class of 2019 watchlist.
Kent State first to offer 2020 OL
Kent State was the first to offer a 2020 offensive lineman from Missouri, Brady Feeney. The St. Louis native is listed at 6-foot-5, 280 pounds.
